- Automatic PP strapping
- Semi-automatic PP strapping
- PP Strapping Manual → Especially recommended for packing in the field.
- Automatic PET strapping
- Semi-automatic PET strapping
- Textile Straps (Hot-Melt)
Straps are usually made of polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET).
Polypropylene (PP) is the thermoplastic, partially crystalline polymer obtained from the polymerisation of propylene (or propene). Its application can be either manual, semi-automatic or automatic.
However, polyester (PET) is a plastic resin obtained through a chemical reaction and is highly resistant to moisture and chemicals. Its application can be in automatic or semi-automatic.
Its main advantage is to secure and stabilize the load.
Polypropylene (PP) strapping provides good support for light loads, while polyester (PET) strapping is more suitable for heavier loads that need to be outdoors, as it can withstand moisture better.
